First not sure where to put this (Mods please move if necessary).
Since I've bought the truck, I have had two occasions where I would start the truck and it would idle then die. Hit the key again, same thing. This would happen multiple times. First time was about a year ago, and the last time was this morning.
This morning I thought I hit the key to the remote start (maybe I missed but don't know as I was a little groggy). Next thing I know I hear the truck alarm. Thinking I hit the panic button I fumble with the keys and hit buttons until it stopped.
I then hit the remote start and hear the truck start up and die. I hit it again with the same results. I then finish getting dressed and walk out to the truck, turn key, truck starts then dies, I did this one or two more times and stopped. I turned off the main switch to my remote start thinking that was an issue. I tried it several more times and after the 3rd or 4th time it started.
I'm not sure if this was an anti-theft issue (with the alarm going off) or a glitch? The only thing i noticed is a message in the DIC on one of the first key attempts saying something like "Battery not charging", but did not see it after that one time????
