I'm fairly new to the forum trying to figure it out. My friend suggested I ask here to find out what's going on with my truck. 04.5 lly check engine light off and on, diagnostic codes p0201 and p2146. Any help would really be appreciated.

Sounds like you mess to search "ice pick". Wiring harness losses contact sometimes. Someone else know more about it then me, but that is where I would start.
That's where I would start. Also, check the wiring harness going to the FICM where it runs over the bracket next to the alternator.
