Question: Delo SDE?

Saw this 3 pack at Costco for about $33 USD, anybody tried it yet or know anything about the CK-4 API spec? I probably would have bought some except I already stocked up on Rotella...

Delo 400 is pretty common, but I often see it at walmart for about that price or less with free shipping.

Thanks. "Better" doesn't always mean better, especially when the EPA has its fingers in the diesel oil pie. The new, improved PC 11 CK-4 API spec is supposed to be formulated with the idea of reduced emissions but it seems like there are often unintended consequences with new so-called green products. I'd like to see how it's working for fleet operators after a few million or so miles, especially in the older rigs.

Bumping this back up, anyone else know anything about this SDE

Went to vatozone to get some delo and they no longer carry the delo 400 LE only the SDE. I only saw the SDE when I was at Costco a few days ago also. Is the LE being phased out? I can still buy LE in a 5gal bucket or larger but that's not necessarily user friendly.

Delo still list the LE on their website. http://www.deloperformance.com/en-us/products/Delo400LESAE15W-40.html

Amazon still sells the LE. Most likely local stores are starting to phase it out thinking they are stocking the "newest" best thing.

No that's a huge typo, 119 for 3 gallons haha single gallons are like 12 bucks normally

Was told they discontinued the LE, whatever you find is what's left out in circulation. SDE is what's available now.
