have the air dog 2 and want to remove the stock filter and housing anyone done this and what did you do. Also looks like the line from the filter is 1/2 and runs to a block by the alternator and the drops down to 2- 5/16 lines and the pasinger side injector return line also gos into this block too. One of the 5/16 lines runs to the CP3 want to make it larger like 3/8 what are you all doing to make this work

There is only one feed line for the CP3. The other line you are seeing coming out of that block is a return line.

at that block you have one 1/2 line comming in also have that small return line that comes from each injector and 2 5/16 lines coming out one to the CP3 and the other runs over the Y- bridge to the back of the motor on the the drivers side but also t's off and runs into a fitting next to the cp3 pump just trying to find out what need to be remove and make larger and what line does what

The one that Ts off is the CP3 return. The other one that runs to the CP3 is the supply.

The small rubber lines coming from the injectors are return lines. The box with banjo bolts is the FICM.

The FICM is the fuel injector control module. It controlled by the ECM and is what actually fires the injectors.

All return lines need to be maintained. You can just route them all together if you want, but each injector, the CP3, and the FPRV all tie into the return. There is also a fuel temp sensor in the return line near the driver's side valve cover.

FPRV is what? so to bypass the stock fuel filter and delete it you would go from the FICM (banjo fitting)to the CP3?

THANK YOU FOR THE HELP

the only reason i would not do this is because if the air dog ever fails and you lose prime you are fooked. i have dumb luck like that so i'd rather not play the odds on it. that would be my only concern.

whay is that if i lost prime with no priming pump the worst would be turning the motor over till i got prime again right?

If the air dog quit, you wouldn't be able to prime it unless you pressurized the tank.

Are the airdogs flow through in design? If not your up the creek regardless of whether or not you have a primer pump. Personally I don't think you need a primer pump if your lift pump is working. Just crack the pressure gauge fitting and let it bleed out of there with the lift pump on.

Just doing this won't work. You also will need to crack a line somewhere to allow flow. No pressure differential, no flow.

You can bleed through te shrader valve.. Between the alternator and the intake....
