Deleting Questions

This is my current cart, my local diesel shop said they can flash my ECM with a small tow tune after deleting. to delete the DPF and EGR this would be fine i assume. my only question is the 5"exhaust would hookup to my downpipe right? the downpipe is 3"to3.5" though so what would i need to run 5 inch?

I would just work with the shop (please DO NOT post their name openly on the forum). Keep in mind, deletes are the one thing that isnt talked about in the open on the forum any more.

But yeah, the exhaust attaches at the downpipe off the engine.

so that exhaust pipe would connect to the downpipe fine when though its 5 and the downpipe is 3.5?

I'm sure there is an adapter required. Can possibly be made at the shop or comes with the 5 in kit.

That last 5" downpipe exhaust I purchased had the pipe right at the fitting neck down so as to fit a standard sized downpipe. I would not be surprised if that one was the same.

Yes. The flange on the front pipe will be 3 inch. Downpipe is 3 as well.

Most exhausts are 4in off the downpipe, and after 3 or 4ft go up to 5in

You are in Canada where these parts are readily available. This is a US based forum, and we cannot help you delete your truck or answer any questions in that regard.
