LBZ: Deleted my EGR today....one question

So i installed my All Season EGR delete today. Looks real good and i thought changing the up-pipe was gonna be way worse than it was. My question is how much room do others have between the pipe and the alternator? Mine is really close (about 1/16" clearance) and just wondering if it should be further away. I don't think it would ever touch but you never know.

My egr delete is close too. I haven't had any problems after about 10,000 miles. I think the way the brackets are the tube has a bit of adjustment. Have you played around with the tube at all?

I played with it a bit but will try moving it a little more in the morning.

So it fits under your stock 2006 GMC hood.... I was told the All Season pipe wouldn't clear it?

That was years ago, we had that fixed and they fit perfect. You will have to ask one that knows.

I did a bit of wiggling and i have a little more clearance now. It fit perfect under my hood and it looks great. Truck seems to pull harder when you step on it now.
