Hi all! Now, before you shoot me, I'm looking to get feedback on what you all did, what you gained/noticed as change, and what you would do differently if you were to do it all again. I've been reading and reading but I'm hoping you all won't mind helping myself and maybe a few others out there by posting here.

I'm currently considering doing a full delete with all the intake plumbing from SDP, do a CP3 conversion with an LBZ pump, and go with the Ez Link platform with Kory's tunes. Want to leave the trans alone this time with the exception of the solenoid mod. Want opinions on a quiet exhaust system too. How did the responsiveness of the truck change when you did this? Is there a significant increase in turbo whistle? Do you have before and after comparison of fuel mileage?

I know it is a lot to ask of you all, but I'd really appreciate your real world experience and input on this. Any input is appreciated!

Exhaust tone will be relative to tuning. That will have a huge effect on tone and drone on the lml. Responsiveness again falls on the guy tuning the truck. Turbo whistle did not seem to change. Fuel mileage did go up a little not a tremendous change but that depends more on you and driving habits.

Thanks for the input! I didn't know that tuning could affect the tone. Would a 4 or 5" be better for nice tone with less drone? Will certainly have a muffler no matter what. Any advice on what exhaust to go with?

I loved my tuned and deleted 15, mileage increased only bc regens stopped. That helped me a ton bc the truck rarely gets over 45 mph towing around town. To be honest though I'm leaving my 16 alone bc I got tired of the loud exhaust, smoke and drone. I just couldn't take it anymore...

I run the 5" Flopro as well but I don't have drone or smoke issues that would not be tolerable to most people.

The four inch will be quieter.
