Has anyone else ever had an issue with LBZ/LMM DSP tunes defueling more for some reason compared to a single tune in the ECM?

On a LMM the truck would fall on it's face for a second or two then pick right back up.

Put a DSP 5 on my 06' and it seems to be doing the same thing now at the track.

When you made the DSP2 or DSP5 did you configure the units to "ALL IMPERIAL" or "ALL METRIC" ?

If you didn't and copy/pasted the number in you could have NM instead of LBS/FT for the torque values.

;)

I double checked and they're all in imperial. The LMM was a tune I did for a friend and for my 06' it was done by another tuner since I out a bigger charger.

I was just bored trying to get it figured out since both trucks started doing it with a DSP 5 tune.

I just got my defueling issue fixed a couple of weeks ago. With the DSP5 switch installed the truck would not shift from 2 to 3, 3 to 4, and etc. unless I let off the pedal. I spent many hours going through the entire fuel system, but no luck. I decided to put a single tune in, and the truck defueling issue went away. I bought a new switch, and everything work correctly again.

Not sure if its the same problem, but its worth a shot.

Have you checked the defuel on the tcm?

When you made the tune did you copy/paste or run a script ?

The reason I am asking is that a LBZ script will not work on an LMM.

;)

I just copied and pasted the for the DSP 1-4 tables on the LMM tune. I know that a LBZ tune won't work for LMM's ;)

Pretty much the same symptoms you listed. Haven't tried replacing the switch(s), they were brand new but anything is possible.

I have a TCM tune in my 06' but it doesn't make a difference. I tried a stock TCM tune and a few modded ones. The only way the issue went away was by putting the original ECM operating system in, even if it was with the same exact tune.
