I have a 2001 lb7 with a Ppe hot +2 programmer on it. The truck runs great but when you leave the starting line and goes to shift into 2nd gear the truck falls on it's fAce but picks right back up once it shifts. I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem? I have heard that it is the 2001 computer that's the problem, wondering if I switch it to a 2002 computer if it will fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

With the hot+2 if you go into the options, you can turn off the defueling if you want. I was told by the doug at PPE that its not recommended because its hard on your transmission.

Although the no defuel option is listed in the Hot + 2 options and you can select it, it doesn't work. You have to have the HOT + 2 ET to have the functioning no defuel option. I sent mine in to PPE and had it upgraded to the ET version just to get the no defuel to work.
