Like the title says. My 2002 D/A defuels or sometimes has a dead pedal in 1st gear low range. Sometimes I can push the throttle to the floor and rpms won't increase at all and then the tranny will shift into second and everything will work fine. This seems to be most noticeable when I have 5er in tow on back roads. When the dead pedal isn't there, it still seems to be defueled in comparision to high range. I am running a ppe hot + 2 et on level 8 with defueling enabled. Any ideas? I will try hooking up the scan tool and logging the data, but which computer should I be looking at, engine or trans?

Hooked up the scan tool today and logged some transmission settings and found a few quirks. On occassion I would see input torque requested as being 48xxx saw that several times, then it would go to normal numbers of 60-250
The other weird number I saw was while running in 5th gear, it showed next upshift at 82xx rpm. This only seemed to be a 5th gear thing.

I tested truck again today in low range and couldn't duplicate problem. Doesn't seem super responsive in 1st gear, but hits 2nd and takes off like a rocket. Locked tranny into first gear and it seemed ok. Hard to tell because it revs out so quick. No dead pedal today.

my truck has had the dead pedal in low range only since i changed operating systems. You can hold it down forever and it takes over 5 seconds till it starts revving up. Low range only, cannot figure it out at all. Only am in low range sled pulling, so i can deal with it.
