Is a deep pan worth the money when you run a cooler?

For as cheap as they are, I would run one. my trans cruises at 165* right now. Deep pan and big cooler.

From what I seen on my dads lly the pan just slowed peak temp, but is there any other benefit?

more fluid, and that's it. Deep pans like magtec etc are a waste of money, IMHO.

Yes there is.
Run an Allison deep pan and drop your fluid level to the top of the cold mark. Temps should drop.

I have one on mine but didn't notice much changed. but i don't drive it that much so who know. I manily just wanted a reason to drip the pan and see what was in there. very please to see 3 years on my built trans and nthing in the pan at all. its probly in the filter lol
