6 weeks ago my wife and I go on the hunt for a 2015 Tahoe, I get with a sales guy at the local Chevy dealer and tell him what im after. We want a red LT2 Tahoe, 2015. Easy enough..

Yesterday im online looking and find 3 of them at this dealer. So I swing by and meet the wife there. The website has 3 listed.....red, white, and grey. The salesman informs me that all 3 were being driven by the sales manager, owner, and the owners wife. AND that the sales manager had been kicked out of his because it was sold that morning. Annoyed, we start to drive away and this white one pulls in.. completely caked with black ice and mag chloride. The owner jumps out and says well there it is...and walks inside..WTF, so we walk over and all his shits in it. frustrated, Now we just leave,

This morning I was holding out hope for the red one the owners wife was driving, yesterday I had asked the salesman about bringing it by so I can see it today, this is what he said..The Tahoe Mrs Ghent is driving isn't available, she has had to come down numerous times for people that didn't buy it, but come down to the dealership and we will show you one just like it, after we agree on a price and put a deposit down then will get it down here for you.

Needless to say, I told them to pound salt (in so many words)..Stay away from Ghent Chevy in Greeley CO! now im willing to drive 2 hrs away to buy...F those morons

Yup, nothing out of the ordinary. There's only one salesman at my dealer that I would ever deal with and you wouldn't believe what some of these vehicles look like when they swap out demos. If you buy a truck from us, don't be surprised if it was used to tow a loaded 25' sled trailer to Canada and back lol. Just saying lol

Just say that is the one you want throw a crazy lowball offer and say deal or no deal. If they bite, at least you have a vehicle at a good price. If not tell them that you are extremely disappointed in their cust service and that you will plaster social media due to their lack of professionalism. At least try and get the thing since you are done with them anyway.

Thats ridiculous apparently they don't need sales. You would think they wouldn't pass on a opportunity to sell a vehicle. At least set up a appointment for the next day get the vehicle in clean it up the whole nine yards for a test drive and negotiation!

I wouldn't do business with them ! Call up GM and complain! :D

it wont make a difference Mack. My parents just went through some similar BS with buying a new lexus 330i. The sales guy was a total ass. My mom wanted a fully loaded, red exterior with tan interior. he claimed they dont make them that way and they are special order, yadda yadda yadda. then tried to tell them you couldnt get certain features with certain packages. my dad wanted the f sport package but still keep all the bells and whistles. Sales guy claims you cant get remote trunk opening option with the f sport nor the red color. He also said there was no one in the country right now with a red 330i

So my parents told him to F off and my dad started calling other dealerships outside the state. Found a guy in dallas that helped them get what they wanted, told my dad how full of shit the sales guy was. He had one red one but it was not loaded up but my mom fell in love with a black one they sent pics of. It was fully loaded and ready to go. they paid cash and had it shipped here. they asked the owner of that dallas dealership if there was anything they could do to file against the sales guy out here. He said, "Nope, corporate sets guidelines for the dealership to follow but how the directors run it out there is kinda up to them. Based on what your telling me though, either that dealership is going to go under or that guy wont be staying there long"

i dont understand the ego of some of these guys, they are in the business to SELL.
