Dash lights are out, including the a/c backlights, anybody know how many and where the fuses are to start looking, maybe possible dimmer switch , the bright light indicator is out also, but if I pull the switch backwards the bright light indicator will flash, the dome lights still work also. All controls, speedo, etc works, although the other day the speedo was about 25mph off of the actual speed for a little while (verified with SOTP and GPS).

Check and make sure the instrument panel dimmer switch isn't the whole way off.
I know it sounds stupid but I cleaned my truck one day before heading to the pulls and apparently slid the dimmer the whole way off. Got in the truck after the pulls and didn't have any lights in the dash. I thought a fuse went but I got to thinking about it and checked the dimmer.

What about the lights and the LCD display in the radio, or do you have an aftermarket radio?

I'd be willing to bet it's something with the switch or a fuse. Do you have tail lights by chance? IIRC, most vehicles have the dash lights on the same fuse as the tail lights.

tail lights, brake lights and the little orange lights on the a/c on and a/c max air work, the back lights on the a/c controls are not working though. I think I shorted out something on the power block (whatever its called) next to and a little to the upper left of the brake pedal. I was tapping power there for my aftermarket gauges and lost power to them last weekend wiring the train horn. I got the gauges back working mid week, thats about the time my cluster lights went out. I screwed up something, just need to trace it out this weekend, right after I install the larger air tank for the horns and on-board air :D

I had 2 blown under the hood and 1 on the side of the dash, not sure which one fixed it, replaced all three before checking.
