Dammit... finalizing the loan for my motor build and to pay off the rest of my truck, and have to go to the DMV tomorrow to get the new title with the lienholder on it. Get to the bottom of the form and get to the section - THIS SECTION MUST BE FILLED OUT BY THE DMV.

PLates, VIN, odometer, etc etc. I have to take the truck to the DMV. Now how the hell am I going to do that?:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

LOL Adam hes like 2 hours away at least. Id tow it over with my trailer and explorer but i have no brakes or anything so i have no way of stopping it down my sloped driveway, or unloading it back into it. Ill have to use a rollback. And the tranny is just hanging there so Id have to strap the hell out of that, and then i have to hook up the odometer which means battery and stuff back in, which i assume also means ECM, then its going to set 800000000 codes and all kinds of crap. UGH

I would make sure you could even see the mileage prior to going to much trouble :(

Ya was just thinking about that. Im going to see if I can get the CHP vehicle inspector to come to my house to do it.... that could be a chore though.

Worth a shot!

A couple weeks ago a friend of mine had to have his commercial fishing boat inspected. They sent people from Portland over an hour and a half away from where the boat is on the coast to do a life jacket, noise device, survival suit, etc check....... like they don't have Coast Guard on the coast that could be trained to do that?

I say call em.
