couple pics of the right side header. i'll have more in the next few days.

nice mild steel headers, guess you found someone to fit your $1500 budget:rofl: They don't even have merge collectors, rather $30 stamped pieces, and far from equal length. They do look very nice, just not what you would expect to find under the hood of a max effort truck.

You say this is a max effort project yet you were too cheap to spend $3000 for SS equal length (withing 1/4") and merge collectors, instead you offerered me a part in building the fasted d-max in the world:rofl:

That alone has to be worth $3000. In reality, you should probably pay him for the honor of building parts for "the fastest duramax in the world"... :spit:

First off these are not finished product, they still need turbo flanges, WG flanges and ceramic coating.

Equal length on a turbo car means NOTHING! I told him to make it work, and i dont care about equal lenght, it still has to hit the turbo before it go to atmophere any way, turbo cars dont scavenge:rofl:.... Mild steel has been used for 30 years in header tubing in some 1700*+ with out issue, please dont think im heartbroke about not useing your stailnless headers, now that i see how quick you are to tear other's down im glad i did not opt to go with your headers.

matter of fact the guy building these is mike of virgina speed, he has built some of the fastest turbo and N/A cars on the east coast, like the Gotham City 4 sec Pro Mod.....i think he knows how to build a header!

Im not worried:cool2:

Equal length on a turbo car means NOTHING! Really? now your a header expert:rofl: It doesn't make a huge difference but it does help, and every HP counts I told him to make it work, and i dont care about equal lenght, it still has to hit the turbo before it go to atmophere any wayKeep telling yourself that.... Mild steel has been used for 30 years in header tubing in some 1700*+ with out issueOnce again someone talking about asomething they know nothing about, please dont think im heartbroke about not useing your stailnless headersI could care less about your heart;), now that i see how quick you are to tear other's down im glad i did not opt to go with your headers.I didn't tear down anyones work, I actually said they looked good, just stated a facts...they are unequal length, mild steel, and dont have merge collectors, Say I did something I didn't again and your gone for good....Pat won't be able to save you this time;)

matter of fact the guy building these is mike of virgina speed, he has built some of the fastest turbo and N/A cars on the east coastI hear that about lots of people, but when push comes to shove headers aren't what make a car fast, all they do is mod the tq curve on a NA motor. And don't think I don't know some of the best header builders in the country.....cuz they aren't on the east coast.....i think he knows how to build a header!

Im not worried:cool2:

I'm glad I chose to ignore your calls....thank god someone I respect asked me to not build them.....I was almost dumb enough to drink your kool-aid:rofl:

2 sets of headers and now you've invented them:rolleyes:...... yep thats what it sounds like to me.

Listen, im glad you like to compare material and dollars as to equal quality. in some cases yes i agree, but in this case nothing you could have done different would have been measurable on a dyno!

Max effort? this truck might look max effort but sure does not have the money backing like banks does......

you wouldent believe me even if i told you what it has cost so far.... :D

I thought the truck was going to be done in May or something like that? Aren't your sponsors who actually pay for everything anxious to get something for their money?

So it's just been hugely discounted or free parts? We all know you aren't afraid to promote a product for a good deal... If not, why don't you go ahead and tell us what you paid for some of your parts? I know what parts cost at a non-discounted price as I'm building my engine right now.

Not all parts, the only parts i have gotten discounts or for free were from snow, II, Strange, and Tempest racing. everything else came out of my pocket.

About 100k
Is that supposed to be a lot of money or really cheap? I was really more interested in what you've spent on the engine, but a breakdown of what you spent on everything would be cool too. Chassis, body, transmission, engine, front suspension/steering, rear suspension/axle, fuel system, electronics (including ECM), misc interior pieces (gauges, seat, harness, shifter(s), etc), so on and so forth.

i would be glad to post that once everything is complete and running, for me to give what i have now would be useless to you,the little things end up costing the most...

To me 100k is a lot of money, most dont realize that i doing this because i love racing, and want the sport to grow.
