one of the biggest downfalls to having twins is the underhood temps. they get real hot, even with the hot pipe turbo sock. and where the airfilter sits right off the big charger it is not secluded from any of the hot air under the hood. so i was thinking yesterday and i took a piece of 4 inch exhaust tubeing i had left over from my long bed extension piece and used a clamp i got a lowes to hook it to the big charger pointed straight down, then i took the front part of the front pipe that you have to cut off when installing the twins and cut the 3inch neck off it and clamped it to the previous piece and then i took the afe filter that came with the twin kit and put it on the end of that piece and its sitting in the fog light hole! i know its probably in my head but it seems like it runs way better now, egts are like 500-600 cruising. havent logged iat yet but its got to be better then the hot arse air under the hood. ill post some pics shortly.
