Bout to order a CTS2 and wondering if you REALLY need to add on pyro or just the standard one? Cant imagine adding to it since the LML already has pretty much everything. Also how accurate is the pyro already in the LML after turbo? Would you just use that?

Any cool screen shots of your CTS or CTS2 would be cool too. Just gonna put some naked chick on there prolly so my wife asks who she is all the time. Maybe a GIF where boobs jiggle all the time.... but then I be looking at that instead of road so...

Seems pretty accurate on mine. I just use the factory one and back out at 1100-1150 or so since its after the turbo.

I got the expandable for the cts I ordered just wasn't much more and would rather not have to by the expandable later if I needed an additional sensor like when I plan to put a motor driven air compressor in can run a pressure gauge to the CTS

All my stock pyros stopped working after being deleted. Post turbo one is the only one that works if you have the stock downpipe. Also I would opt for a isspro or autometer pyro. The edge pyros have a bad rep. Some work for years and some fail in months. Mine failed within 4 months and have yet to replace it. I know of at least a dozen people(in person) who have had the same issue. Also as previously mentioned you want a pyro in the manifold(most accurate and most needed spot), there is a flat spot on the back of it on the passenger side that is perfect.:thumb:

OK so can the Isspro connect to insight cts2 monitor or do I need to get a gauge. Would rather have it all on monitor as I hate clutter on the a pillars that are already huge to begin with.

No it wouldn't connect to the cts. You could get a dual gauge pod and put the cts in one and the Pyro in the other. I'm not trying to talk you out of the edge Pyro if that's the way you want to go. Just letting you know they have had some issues and the way I would go about it.

Well glad you said that cause Ive read it before and wasnt sure if it was just people bitching on the net or if it was true. Im not trying to replace stuff every 6 months. Im a one and done guy no matter the cost.

That's how I am also:thumb: Rather do it once right than 4 or 5 times cutting corners. A pillar, cts, isspro or autometer Pyro kit, and the cts adapter for the pod wouldn't run much more than 550 or so

:roflmao: autometer made gauge pods to go on the steering column for older trucks.. Could hide a Pyro there and it would be easy to glance down at. I had one there on my 24v and it fit nicely. Then you would be able to keep the cts where you wanted and not have to clutter up the pillar.

OK back to this. Mines on order. Have few questions....

- What temp do I want to be below when using OEM post turbo pyro (for time being)
- What PIDS do you list
- Any cool tricks or backgrounds you guys got loaded on these?

Im hoping this saves my data when I have to unplug it for tuning. If you looking for one Jet.com has them for $318 plus 15% off for first time buyers. Only paid $288 out the door for brand new one. Like a sore peter, you cant beat that!
