Me and this guy race weekly one week im ahead, next he is .. We are basicly working off stock trucks we both have tuners he has 06 dodge 4x4 5.9 with a smarty programmer and converter with valve body in his trans, and i bought a 7.5 4x4 lmm an I'm running a ct racing edge ... Well i need help on closing the door on this guys BIG MOUTH.. Always doging on duramax..Will the efi live tune my edge,, can i run them together ? What else can i do to my truck with out busting the budget???
Item's i have done so far ,, block off plate,, pcv reroute,CT RACING ,,,pfdelete,,,,banks air box with scope,,..i ordered the 10.00 fuel rail return part.that holds more fuel in the rail... what else can i do ? ?? Any other ways to cheat H.P... Will the efi live, do anything for me ? CAN ANYBODY HELP MY CLOSE THE DOOR ON HIS BIG MOUTH..

Lift Pump.
Start saving for a tranny because he's gonna keep trying and you're gonna keep racing him.

thanks ...ok what fass pump do i order?? and what do i buy for my tranny ?? brand ?? i looked at the efi live web site....wow they have several different things ? what do i order ???? im so ready to SHUT HIM UP

Buying an EFI tuned ECM from one of the vendors on here is the easy way to go EFI. Any of these guys can get you set up with the lift pump and tranny you need, too. Your worries will be over.

so i need to buy a tuned ecm ? start off slow ur talking fast for me .lol. i thought i just needed a efi tunner ? my god im in trouble .. update ;i just bought a down pipe.. were do i find these venders on here to get the pump ?

1ST off THANKS so far for the info........Is the Airdog 1 ajustable like the airdog 2 ... do i want the raptor? .. im ready to learn ... If you guys are willing to help me ,it wont be a waste of your ,,im retired 35yr old ..have had back surgery....few oil checks coming in but not rich by any means ............Listen, im a quick study as well ..i am a hard core hotrodder i owne a 68firebird with a lt1 2speed glide ....i have owned 3 or 4 diesels but this is my first go fast diesel..I really need to shut the door on this guy.. he's the only guy i have raced with in 50 miles that can touch my truck that i know of? BUT YOUR HELP WILL NOT BE IN VAIN ,, IM A GOOD GUY TO KNOW.. BELIEVE THAT .. THANKS FOR ANY OF THE HELP IM RECIEVING ........

Wow 3,500.00 for the tranny, that sounds like a deal .. ill have to put some cash together half next month an 2 half following month.. wife is build a english riding course on our place .. some snooty crap if you ask me but it hits hard on my little o income but ill sneak it back over the next 2 months unless gas goes up then checks will be bigger .. but im ready to order the pump today ..ill stop buying guns and start buying diesel hot rod parts .. but what pump do i get airdog 1 ? raptor?

EFI Live is a custom tuning software for our trucks. jsut buying EFI Live by its self, you will have to download your stock tune and custom tune it your self but this takes lots of time and learning. ive had mine for 8 months and have barely scratched the surface.

Now when you buy EFI Live,you can ask the vendor you bought from for a tune or two and most will have a few ready for ya. or do as said above which is buy a ECM that is already pre-programmed with an EFI Live tune/tunes.

Now with that said, you can also put a DSP5 or DSP2. these are switches with in plain terms means you can switch to different tunes by using special OS programmed into the ECM. So now you would be able to select between either 2 or 5 programmed tunes on the fly.

Your gunna need a lift pump for sure ( i prefer ADII for ease of instillation) and atleast a transgo jr if you run a hot race tune, id suggest you do a few WOT runs on the hot race tune and log them. it will tell you if you are for sure gettin all you can out of that tune. If you are, go put that dodge in his place as you will kick the snot out of him. if you were closer id show him what efi live on 37s can do :D

I read about the switch were you can jump from one tune to the next..VIA a switch.on the EFI live. I like that idea because i can switch to a easy travel tune or jump into a towing horse trailer or tractor tune..An most of all jump into ass wipping dodge tune ... I do want to try to buy from venders on this site as much as i can ... I'll have to check with Dustin to see if he has the ADII because easier would be nice..I think its only right to buy from the venders here..After all this is were im gettting all the help.. If the customer service is good ill turn other diesel guys on to them as well...

I want the EFI set up to were i can write and build my own tunes.. Just for my truck ect.. It sounds really hard but on the hand it sounds like something it would give me a reason to work on an play with my truck alot more .. If your married hobbies are a must..It's worth the effort ..I personally think thats the way to go and do it right .,..I have owned snap on scanners in the past..Now what's the EFI live set up i need ,In order to read and write my own tunes and use some other guys tunes ?

Now the guy at ss diesel tunes ,Does he writes tunes on the EFI ? I really want to do the EFI how much is the EFI and what is it called were i can buy and write my own tunes so i dont sound compleatly dumb when i call if its not to $$$$ ill call and buy one today???
