I know this isn't a cruze forum but you all are like family lol. Our cruze had a cel come one, I checked it and it was o2 sensor timing or something. I cleared the code and it came back like 2 days later. It didn't seem to effect anything so I left it and made an appointment with the dealer. Day before the appointment it had another code and said service Def fuel system 91 miles until reduced speed. Got it to the dealer the next day and they said they have had a few come in with the same issue. Turned out to be heater 1 in reservoir was bad. So they replaced it and the o2 sensor. Picked it up today.
Drove it home and around a bit no problem. Just got home from visiting with family. The car sounds identical to a police siren. It's pretty faint but enough to make me look around for police. It even does it cruising at a constant speed. I got home and had the ol lady give it throttle while I listened. It sounds like turbo spool but more of a siren sound. You guys think it could be from the o2 sensor they replaced? It sounds cool sure but a little nerve racking after a while. I have not popped the hood to look where the o2 sensor is that they replaced. No codes of course. I'm thinking because it's a new sensor maybe? But why after 20 miles it starts doing it all of a sudden?
