The tune i have in my truck has a 450-500 degree egt while cruising at 70-75 mph unloaded. The tune i run has a 3000 pw and a 26* timing max ramped up after 2000 rpms. My question is it too low? Is it okay where its at? Over the years the various tunes i ran were usually in the 6-700 degree area cruising 70-75 mph

Mine sits in the 600-700 deg range while crusing , but i run pretty low timing down low to help with spooling . If the fuel economy is good and you are happy with the spooling i wouldnt worry too much about it .

I've always seen the same EGTs as Trent. To be honest, I don't really remember the twins dropping my unloaded cruising EGTs by a significant amount over just the stock turbo. Could your EGT probe or gauge be bad?

how low of timing down low? i have low timing as well and it spools super fast; it rips the tires off:D economy isnt bad either (18.5 mpg hwy) the only quirk i have is during hwy cruising in 5th, it takes a while to spool the turbos if i stomp on it, to race someone doing a hwy roll on, i have to lock out 5th and get the rpms up to spool the turbos and then engage 5th and its pretty much all over for most people:rofl:

16-2000 rpm is like is like 4 deg , if you blanket the turbo's and ( if you havent already) all the piping it will really help when the converter is locked , I noticed a good improvment .
