Cool stuff!! Guess that's what Kusilek is running and Scott Vorhees amung many others.

I'm not really understanding how Scott is running his though. Sure sounds like it's pretty much just a pedal clutch.... says he pushes pedal to disengage the clutch so it will "stahl" to a higher RPM. Basically the same as a pedal clutch. Suppose the pedal is just optional for him and doesn't need it to putt around, just to rev higher without actually moving.

Reckon how much one costs as compared to a 3-4 disc pedal clutch?

I know nothing on the subject, just thought it was interesting when I saw it.

I wonder if it's supposed to be used with a Powerglide 2sp? You get your RPM up on a limiter, then let it go in first, and pull into second after you get moving?

That's for manual transmissions. Though it possible to hook up a clutch to an automatic, why would you even want too?

seems to be working pretty good for TS & Smiths trucks, the 2 fastest 4x4 diesels around.
From the In cab videos it looks like their spooling on the clutch, dump it on the launch & hand shifting thru the gears(individual shifters for each gear like a lenco)
