Crankshaft counter weight locations?

I am wondering if I can get an answer on the location of the counter weights on the LB7 and LLY crankshaft. I have an 04' lb7 crank shaft that has the counter weights on the ends and another new crank that I was told was an LLY with middle counter weights.
I was wondering if the counter weight location is a way to tell the difference in the two cranks?

GM shows the same part number for both cranks. What you have is an early crank (without center counter weights) and a late crank (with counter weights).
