LB7: Cranks, runs for 2 seconds and dies

I picked up a 03 lb7 that will not run. It fire for like 2 seconds when you crank it and thats it. Also the radio is missing which was wondering if it is tied into the security system although the security light isnt on. I also dont have the orignal key but the ignition is working fine.. Any thoughts or ideas on how to make this truck run??? Im in kuwait and my resources are limited.

Will not fire again until you cycle the key. Thanks

My truck would do that same thing when my auto start/ security would wig out. Try searching how to reset the pass lock.

Well i figured out how to make it run today. I ended up hooking a 12v feed off of the ignition switch and tied it into the 12 supply for the passlock sensor. Everything works great and the security isnt even on now. Now i got a free truck to drive around base... Maybe get some tunes on the way now lol and have like the only tuned truck in Kuwait haha

to reset pass lock try to start the truck and leave the key in the run position for 5min then turn off the key and repeat 2 more times on the 3rd time it will learn the key code and should be good to go

I figured out how to bypass the system... No key is even needed now
