Did the hard starts begin when the temp starting dropping outside? How cold is it where you're at?

You have to see if you are losing prime . Next time it doesn't start pump up the primer see if that helps it start. Also when is the last time you changed the fuel filter?

If it isn't a prime issue then you'll have to start looking into possible injectors. How many miles on the truck?

sounds like the injectors are returning to much fuel back to the tank. I had mine do the same thing. Started out to take a few seconds longer to start. then it got to the point if you got it started you better not turn it off. because it would take forever to start back up after it had been running for awhile.
