I think my fuel filter housing is cracked on the lb7. It keeps losing prime about every 2 days or so. Would my filter housing from my lbz fit the lb7? I was thinking of taking it off the lbz anyway since I have the airdog and filters on the truck. Anyone know if this will work of know if where I can get one cheap??

The LBZ one should be the same as the LB7 one. I think thats the one thing GM didnt change over the years.(Yes, I know Im probably wrong about that, and I fully expect to be beaten up for it later) :)

Ever think its just the diaphragm and/or orings going bad?

My truck lost prime because the water separater on the bottom of the fuel filter had a crack. it dripped real slow and left me on side of the road. I need to get one of them filter wrench

I can tell you the LBZ fuel filter housing is not a direct swap for an LB7. Physically, it will bolt in, but the lines are pointed differently on the LB7 than they are on the LBZ.

That said, I would check the WIF sensor first. Maybe swap the one from your LBZ in there and see if the problem persists.

depending on the area many people are still doing 1st cutting others are starting 2nd cutting. Some are cutting oats, or just plain old hay for baling.

And some people still have some late planting to do.
