Im calving earlier (stock cows, not holsteins) than I had planned and all Ive been doing the last few days is picking up calf-sicles and putting them under some heat lamps...........

Lots of red heifer and bull calves.

Usualy a minimum of 8 calves a day but I have seen as many as 21 in one day. We do everything here. No seperate off site heifer raising facility. I have nothing to do with the animals. I keep pretty buisy with 3 calf barns, 4 heifer barns, 2 milk barns, 2 parlors, 2 utility rooms, 7 heating systems and all of out trucks and equiptment. I hate cows unless they are in my freezer.

1070 animals lactating and dry
1200 replacement calves, heifers and bred heifers
40 bulls
190 steers (aka. beef)
0 sheep
