When I visit E-bay my CPU pops up a message three times even though I click yes to allow. The message is " Current web page is trying to open a site in your trusted site list, Do you want to allow this". it happens every page on e-bay. It's getting annoying how do I get rid of it? THX!

Check your IE:Tools:Internet Options:Security tab.
Select the trusted sites icon and check the security level. If you're set high, try to bring it back to medium, or go into custom and tweak it from there.

Copy your link (http:www.ebay.com) into the buffer.

Go to "Start > Settings > Control Panel > Internet Options > Security > Trusted Sites > Sites". Paste your link in the upper window and click "add".

It may "choke" on your link because it wants a secure connection. Add an "s" to the "https:...". Maybe that will work. Maybe that is why it hasn't been working in the past.

If there is already a similar link in there, delete it.

No luck! It's set in the middle and still does not work, even by adding www.ebay.com, www.shop.ebay.com, and pn1.adserver.yahoo.com to the list. I had to add the "S" after the http with all three!

Looks like I had a Virus. My CPU locked up and would not even boot. Got it to boot and it was laughing @ me and rocking out to some heavy metal, while on the Windows main page. Be careful what you watch on you tube...

Quit using IE and get FF (FireFox) and you will be much happier.

PS: if you don't have a virus removed prog get AVG Free and LavaSofts Ad-Aware both are free and work well.

I Was running AVG and LavaSoft @ the time. My Father in law came over and installed ESET. It took about four hrs. to go through my CPU's files.
