cp3 removal?

ok so does anyone know how involving it is to pull stock cp3 about how long does it take and does the turbo have to come off ,cause that is a nightmare. what large items need to be removed?

This is what Gm calls for, It can be done in 4 hrs easy.

ok i am goin to try to do with turbo in. i was told it can be done not to mention i have an htt which is pushed back a lil more than stock also just need to know if any special tools are needed such as pullers for any items to be removed

You should not need and special tools. Most all the bolts are metric, A fan wrench would make it easier but sometime you do not need to remove.

ok sounds like i might attempt this tommorrow after long day of work with hope to get it out thurs. morn. hopefully it is not to late of a night

i am actually doing both the pump and the turbo all at the same time, so it makes no difference to me;) but can you post the gm spec for taking off the intake manifold too please, as well as the correct place to drain the coolant from. thanks RIPMF666.:cool2:
