Cp3 issue

Got a lb7 I'm working on has anyone ever seen where the cp3 would not suck fuel? I hooked a clear line directly to the pickup fitting on the pump and it would barely draw any fuel it wouldn't even draw steady fuel. I know the issues with not building enough pressure but how many have seen this?

The pump has a low pressure side and a high pressure side. The low pressure is the supply/ suction side and does fail as well.

Thanks looking at it after removing the gear was almost effortless to spin, pump is junk

Was the pump ran on a decently tuned truck without a lift pump?

No completely stock tow truck, it had trash in the filter head running the pump dry
