What do you guys recommend for a daily driver cp3 upgrade? Duel fueler or a 10mm stroker pump? On stock bottom end. Whats more reliable?

Stroker. But you don't need either for a stock motor.

Get injectors instead.

Dual fueled has better reliability IMO. But is more cluttered under the hood and just 1 more thing you have to take off to work on it. I have a single stock LBZ cp3 on mine with 60 overs and I get low frp on the bigger tunes pretty easily.

I prefer one pump. It is lighter and as said above, robs less HP. I have an exergy sportsman pump on mine and love it. In my opinion it is a perfect pump for a stock bottom end. It gives you a little more but hopefully not enough to hurt the engine.

I like single pump setups better then duals. With the work involved it changing the pump I would do a Sportsman pump atleast.

At least do a sportsman pump. It does have to be tuned for the cp3 conversion as well.

I'm also looking to add more fuel. My stock cp3 is not holding rail on my stock injectors. I want to do 60%s for lower pw and a little more fuel. How far can a sportsman pump fuel?

From what I was told a sportsman is stock fueling, it just fuels to a higher rpm. My truck has over 3000 us tune from the guy who tuned it for stock injectors. I added 45 over nozzles and havent retuned yet and my rail drops to 18,000 wot on that tune with a sportsman pump and lbz regulator.

Mark can mod a stock cp3 from 150 plus shipping iirc. Just fuels in the higher rpm range like the sportsman pumps. Don't waste your money on industrials bag of parts.

I recall it was a slight increase like 6% for the sportsmen. The biggest thing being they fuel better above 3K rpms. Modded stocker and sportsmen being almost the same thing.

10mm is good for 750hp and the 12mm is good for 1100hp from what I remember.

If I was going to stay stock turbo I would do a Sportsman etc. Anything more then that even a 3794stg2 and I would do a 10. But I don't like being a the limit of my fuel system.

Everything i have read has been 10-15% increase from LB7/LLY to LBZ CP3s. That seems to check out seeing as everybody says stock healthy LB7 fuel is good to 600rwhp and the LBZ/Sportsman pumps are good for 650-700rwhp. I run the LBZ regulator on mine and hold 26K rail with 30% overs.

I have a hard time believing most stock lbz+ pumps are making much over 600hp. Maybe more lb7 & lly since they are more forgiving to low RP. I ment the sportsmen is 6% over the lbz. I forget not all generations are equal.

My stock cp3 with 138k miles will not hold rail on a 3300us stock injector tune. I'm just worried a sportsman won't be enough but don't want to go to a stroker for reliability reasons.
