Cost of painting a hood

The peeling paint and "bullet hole" stone chips on the hood of my truck really take away from the truck's value. I havent had the opportunity to get the truck into a body shop to ask, but what prices have you guys seen when having a hood painted? Couple hundred bucks? More? Less?

I would say 200-400 usually Tom. Got my lb7s hood repainted last September and paid 250.

Depends on color and amount of body work needed but I would say 2-4 hundred..

Ok, thanks everyone. Appreciate the feedback. Ive got to plan my next vacation week around swapping out the drivetrain, doing the Tcase fixes, removing all the racing stuff, and getting the hood painted.
