Cost of cut and coat pistons?

Who can I contact to find out what it cost to have pistons deliped, valve reliefs cut, and coated?

I know just the cost to cut them .010 and delip was 400$ from Socal when I did mine :thumb:

Any machine shop CAN do it. You just need to know what to ask for. Many shops are familiar with the process.

Wasn't it Trent that did this when the pistons were still in the truck back in like 2009??

Think they did that on his dads rig when he blew the HGs. last i heard when trent was still around was those pistons were still in his dads truck after they built it.

hey if it works out for people, great for them! Kinda like the line i was given many times over about how a factory EFI samurai will never be able to run well on boost without a different throttle body, computer, yadda yadda yadda. shes running on 5psi just fine with a few old school tricks

The reason they built that engine was it lost a piston
