Im trying to decide on running good cordless tools or getting a big compressor and running air tools

I seen the 14V ratchet and really liked it today.....no air line to worry about:D

but its about 400 bucks for 2 batterys and charger and a wrench:eek:

Know nothing about cordless rackets. But there are 2 things that Pat loves that I have bought him without discussing first over the years. One is this cordless impact

cordless impacts are very handy for tire changes at the track;)......

But I agree that you will never be able to replace air tools for shop use. Show me a 1/2" impact that will put out 1000lbs and is small like my air one. Even if its not a tight area its still nice having a small lite tool:D

One of these days I'm going to get a corless impact tho. My friends have them and they are very handy

I work on dmaxes everyday and my 4 top tools are....

1. IR 3/8" titanium air gun
2. Makita 14.4v Lithium 3/8 impact
3. IR 1/2" Titanium air gun
4. Makita 14.4v Lithium Drill

I have never had a better 3/8" battery impact that worked as well as this makita. I brought it over when helping pat with the dash. I believe he even commented on it :D . I don't like big things in my hands so the smaller the tool the better. :)

Air ratchets - i have not tried. they are still fairly new and are limited in designs. I don't feel they can match up with my snap-on ratchet so i haven't even tried.

The guys at american choppers use the cordless ratchets though. :baby::baby::baby:

How much weight can those topside creepers hold? Cause I'm not small. :D

Pat weighs 275 and it holds him.

That was posted with his permission since he would be a dead man if he posted my weight :rofl:
