copy and paste function

I recently purchased a new computer. My old laptop was getting old and tired. its an hp with windows 8. My old laptop was an hp with windows 7 and it did the same thing for a while then one day started working fine. So my issue is say, I want to copy a column to extend limiters, and paste further in the table....it will not copy or paste anything. So then I tried copying table to tables and nothing. Tried programs outside of efi live and it copies and pastes fine. Iv ran as an administrator with no changes, and up to date on everything. I can shut the computer off and restart it and sometimes it will work, I can do everything I need, and sometimes it will copy 2 things and that's it. Then it stops. Anyone else have this problem?

Are you copying from using the tab located in EFI Live at the top or using the computer control C and control V?

I always use Ctrl c/v and never had an issue.

Doesn't matter which way you do it. Won't work. I usually ctrl c/v.

Have you uninstalled and reinstalled EFILive? I had EFI on a Win. 8 machine and worked ok for me (but I hate 8 so I went back to 7 ) Can you copy and paste those tables into an excel file?

I can try. Maybe it's a comparability issue since my windows updated

When did Windows last update? I am able to check and see what updates were done
