Figured it was some rich guy, but looks like it was experienced drag racer, odd it got away from him.

Sucks, but still don't like that car :rofl:

he lined up way left, so i'm not surprised it went way wrong. you can see his tires are out of the groove. It seems like most of those guys run the S/S NHRA class. GM rates those cars at 425hp... pretty sure it makes a few more than that.

those cars have a factory 4 link so they bite hard but it would have to be in the 800hp range to stand that fat b!tch in the air....

I think he did ok personally. He didn't come down then go "oh crap a wall!!" and over-correct like a lot of accidents I've seen, which seem to end in the cars rolling instead. Still sucks but hey, it could have been worse!

Thats the first thing i seen also. He had most of the back tires out of the groove and thats to be expected.
