Good luck finding a plug. I don't remember the size (30 x 1.5) sounds right. I couldn't find one. I drilled and tapped the check valve or whatever for 3/8 npt which would work in theory, but there were clearance issues, so it's just welded up with a plate.

Its 30x1.5. Whoever needs one let me know I just picked one up for someone else on this site. They are like $6.

I wish you were closer. Is it steel or an aluminum plug?
Steel plug. Pretty sure thats what the pipe is MS as well. Most Ive seen welded were MIG welded shut with mild steel. I could call a hydraulic shop that makes my oil lines for me they may have a brass plug but its not easy to find one that big let alone the material you want.

I've been using an aluminum plug with an H-ring groove that seals nicely with the H-ring on there. I can get a picture up sometime tomorrow for you.

just paint the steel one thats my plan :thumb:

Reece has run the same one for a few years with no problem and its the same one I run Im sure it will be fine. On edit looks like the place I buy them from can get them in 316 as well as brass. Brass are about $10 and the 316 is around $25. I also use a washer with integrated o ring that seals perfectly. $2 for that from local hydraulic place. PM guys who want one its on the other end of town and I wish I would have picked up a few but I figured just Mr. Mafia would want one.
