Newbie here, love the site. I have a problem that my truck is losing antifreeze. It's not leaking anywhere. Over the past 2 months I have put approx. 1 quart n it each month. I checked the oil last night but didn't see anything. Has anybody had this problem. Thanks.

i have seen lly's blow colant out of the overflow tank and it was a bad head gasket no other symptoms about the same usage you are describing , maybe check to see if your coolant line on the drivers side the large line is pressureized ?

you said there's not any drips but when inspecting from bellow, is anything wet anywhere? I can't imagine you've blown a head gasket in such short order with little or no tuning on the truck. A bad head would likely be even rarer I'd think.

Good luck.

Try checking the water pump. Mine never leaked while parked only while driving. Just a little moisture on the bottom side. It got worse till i eventualy found it.

i had the same problem, i thought i blew a headgasket but really it was the bottom hose to the radittor that was leaking so i replaced it. or it could be a water pump....check what a said first and could be a bad cap also...

I think I found the problem. I got under the truck & looked @ the bottom rad hose. There is a T-fitting I assume goes to the overflow tank. The T-fitting was pretty wet. Thanks everybody.:beer
