Does anyone know what plug is in the coolant tank for the level sender? I am using a different type of float switch and I want to plug that switch into the plug on the wiring harness on an 04.5 LLY.

What exactly are you asking? Do you need a mating connector for the coolant level sensor plug or?

Or what the circuit is?

The two wires get shorted together (the signal wire gets grounded) when the coolant is at the proper level. When the circuit goes open (signal wire left floating), the ECM interprets that as "low coolant level"

I need a part # for the mating plug. Not the male in the engine harness but a female pigtailed version that is in the coolant tank. Does this make sense Ben?

AFAIK its not a dealer/GM item.

I can get the mating connector for it, and then give you as long a pigtail as you need...so basically just let me know how much wire you want, and Ill assemble the whole thing, crimp the pins and weather seals on and send it you way.

What would one of those little pig tails cost?
