Hey guys a few weeks back my wife's lb7 had a low coolant light come on on the dic massage center I check for leaks and didn't find any added dexa cool and water to top it off and the light went away no problem I went out side last night to feed and water the dog and noticed there to be more water on the passenger side of the truck than normal ac drain so I raked my finger through it and found a slight amount of coolant mixed in the puddle nothing to bad to alarm me I wanted to find the leak so I borrowed a coolant pressure from a coworker at work and didn't even need it as I already had a suspection that the turbo coolant banjo bolt seals might be the culprit and low and be hold earlier tonight I found that the seals were fine it's the turbo coolant return hose that has a pin hole in it and it's leaking of the passenger side intake runner and running down the back of the engine beside the starter causing it the land in the same spot the ac drain hit on the ground hince the mixture on the ground I found my question now is should I replaced with GM parts and know it'll last another 271,000 miles or is there at better aftermarket silicone hose that I can replace both the inlet hose and the return hose with any help would be greatly appreciated at thanks in advance, Robby

I'd just use the stock hose. By the time you out another 270k on I'm sure you will have different issues to handle. I just had to do the line from the PSP to the hydro boost I went with a stock replacement. I've got 320k on mine.

Pretty sure you can get Goodyear hose from PPE or PPE branded silicone hose, either way it's pretty high end stuff...
I'm sure you could order up just about any applicable hose you could think of from an online source if you wanted to though

When I put my engine back together I just ran down to my local Car Quest and picked up some standard Gates hose, it works fine, it only cost a couple bucks and I had it immediately

Thanks so much for the quick replies guys I priced out the hoses at work today and GM hoses will run me right at 45-46 dollars a small investment if they last as long as the original GM ones have while I'm in there I figure it's best to replace both just in case the other is on its way out I may go check ppe out as well being im trying to phase out rubber to all silicone couples and boots and hoses thanks again guys
