Hi, my truck has developed a coolant leak and I'm not 100% certain if it's coming from the water pump weep hole or not. Researching this problem, others have mentioned the a potential leakage point could be where the oil cooler tube connects to the back of the water pump.

Can someone confirm if this is a possibility? And if so, what's the process to repair? Do I have to pull the water pump to do this? I'm going to pressurize the system tomorrow to try and see if it's coming from the weep hole or not. I can see the weep hole and it looks so clean that I'm not sure if it's coming from there.

Definitely possible to leak from there. Or for the pipe to rust and spring a leak. My LBZ did this. Can't remember if you have to pull the oil cooler off to get the pipe out or not but I know it can be done without pulling the water pump.
