Coolant leak help .

Got a coolant leak on 2008 , coming from a hose on the driver side rear of the motor under the cover . I think it’s a egr hose but not sure . Can y’all help me figure out the name of the part I need to replace ? It’s the hose under the little arrow . I used a pump to pressure up my coolant system. Original I thought I had a head gasket issue . Glad I found this instead .

im more inclined to say its the turbo coolant inlet hose.

Might not be a egr hose . I’m trying to figure out what it is .

It’s hard to get to . Hose is about 5 inches under the hose in the picture. Haven’t been able to get a picture of it .

I had to tighten up a couple smaller hose clamps that run near the front side of the turbo a couple weeks ago. You could see where the coolant buildup/powder was on my clamp screws. Not sure if this could possibly be the same hose. It looks like smaller 3/8" coolant hose that more or less makes a 90 degree bend IIRC and was a little hard to reach the clamps. Pretty sure it is a turbo coolant return hose that I'm thinking of. If it's not that smaller return hose, then it is the turbo inlet coolant line IMO. It's hard to tell from the pictures you posted.

Like others said it’s probably for the turbo. Could be the hard or soft line. We can’t do any better then that without better pictures.

Well I found it , it is the turbo coolant line . Just picked up the replacement hose from the dealer .

Well I thought I had it fixed . Got another damn leak now . Kinda looks like it’s leaking someplace about my steering box . Have not had a chance to climb under it and look . Have several broken ribs so I kinda can’t mess with it.
