coolant leak and no pressure on hoses

just bought a 2007.5 lmm has a coolant leak on the driver side looks like it is leaking on top of the water pump and also top radiator hose gets hot but no pressure on it and the bottom hose is cold can someone please help did come with a tuner XRT PRO. can someone please help not sure if its the water pump

Just purchased an 2007.5 LMM it has a coolant leak looks like its coming from above the water pump. Also the top radiator hose gets hot with no pressure on it and the bottom hose is cold its like its not circulation has anyone seen a water pump shear off the shaft to the water pump. Has anyone ever had this problem.

Is the engine running hot? What is the temp reading?

The older water pumps fail all the time, impeller spins off the shaft. Not sure if there's a new design on the later models, but it definitely is not a rare problem.

The tube feeding coolant to the oil cooler is prone to leak at the water pump housing, id check that.
