converting a notepad file

That looks like a script to me. Open your tune then go to edit and run script. Once you do that, there will be a window that pops up. You will need to click open in the lower left corner and find where you have that file saved. Once you have the script open, you need to click run which is right next to open. Once it finishes click close in the lower right corner and then go to file and save as. That's it.

STEVE is going to help me out but i will try it, It sounds very easy & i am feeling a little on the stupid side, oh well i am learning. Thank You.

man i will tell ya this damn truck is really annoying me, I have done eveything i could possibly do to shut the EGR off in this truck and guess what! The code pops back up everytime within 2 or 3 minutes P0405 & the most frustrating of all is now it (the p0405 code) has friends p0299,p0540,p0101. This is a stock tune with just a EGR delete so what could i possibly be doing wrong?
