What is involved in converting a Allison truck to a stick truck? Is is just the engine harness and a ECM tune out of a ZF truck?

No, for a different truck, it will not be a street truck, I would like to have a stand alone ECM with the TCM (or not) separate.
Unfortunately,my 02 LLY Alli project truck is in pieces scattered across 3 provinces
What I'd like to do is build a short box reg cab 600hp manual shift 4l80E. Something I could go to Targa Newfoundland with, and do some road course racing, drifting. My 05 is all the truck I'll ever need for the few bush pulls around here, and well drag racing is just not that big a sport in the maritimes unless you like bracket racing against yourself:thumbsdown:
Think a 4L80E will hold it? Im debating a TH400 or powerglide with a dropbox for mine, but am unsure if it will like 1300-1500lb-ft.
