when i log my converter slip what else would i need to log to see how bad its slipping and what numbers am i looking for?

Don't know how to tell you to log it but if i remember right Mike L. says anything over 5 rpm when in lock up isn't good and 0 is perfect. The truck will throw a po741 code if it detects converter clutch slip.

I would say engine rpm and Transmission input speed would show you what you need to know. :thumb:

i was able to slip the shit out of my stock converter without limping tranny and i NEVER got the code, it would slip bad rolling into it in 5th gear on a 500whp tune, did this for about 10k before building tranny

Mine was the same way until i got the po741, Built the tranny and had the same code and no lock up after reinstalling. Mine ended up being the f solenoid.
