Looking for recommendations for what converter would work best with my set-up. SoCal stroker LB7 with Forced induction ETR S491/96 1.32a/r over Bullseye TCT S472/87 .90 a/r., truck currently has a Goerand converter that seems to be close to stock stall. Truck is pretty much a toy, never really tow with it. Looking for something a little looser to keep on top of turbos that still cruise's good. Was looking at maybe the Suncoast 1074. I loved the Suncoast 10532 for big single, but thinking that might be too loose for the compound's...

We did a Goerend K and had it restalled to a J on Richard’s LBZ with the same chargers. The K was good at lower altitude, but at 3k ft and 4500-5000 DA in west Texas, it was a bit too tight. We were afraid it wouldn’t let the truck light the turbos in Denver. The J is amazing though.

Yeah I was going to ask Richard what he was running, but didn't want to bug him while he's at DPC. The "J" sounds like it might be the best for my application. I would rather it be a little to loose, than too tight...

This is the stamping on my current Goerend converter. I know previous owner had it restalled once for sure. Why does it have 2 letter designation's? Because it was restalled?

I’d also second a J. The J is the best driving converter I’ve had on a S400 truck when compared to a 1058, J, and Q. The Q stalls awesome but doesn’t couple anywhere near as well as the J so it really suffers off the line.
