I have a 2007 gmc Hd2500 classic. interior is light grey (stealth grey exterior paint color).
looking to remove my center console and put in a jump seat (need 3rd person up front).

anyone in the so cal region looking to do swap for their jump seat?
I believe the dash panel that runs along underneath the steering wheel all the way to behind the glove box would need to be changed as well?

pm me if so thanks,
Ray

Updates?

Did you do the swap? How did it go? I'm looking to do the exact same but haven't found any finalized posts. Everyone stops responding around the time that they have to relocate the amp and sub

Hi, i actually did not do the swap. i had found a seat close by, but they wanted quite a bit of it. so i put on hold for a while. i did a bunch of research too all over the place.
the hardest part i think i was having was the under knee bolster and bottom section of dash. i was able to find some posts on how guys routed the amp and subs. again my hang up was more the dash pieces not easily found? i tried looking up junk yards around my area and they weren't going to be much EASY help.

I want to do the same thing. I found the trim piece but cant find a seat that's reasonably priced :( I have a friend who did it and he just stuffed the amp under the dash and got rid of the sub iirc.
