Congrats to AJ for taking his pulling truck to the strip tonight and running a new best. Ran a best of 7.29 and best mph of 98.6 on proxies on fuel only at our local 1/8th mile track. If only ups wouldn't have lost the slicks he could have really let her have it and run some 6's tonight but kept it conservative. Did a great job of driving it out and keeping the tires under it. Damn pulling trucks going out and making it look easy lol! Congrats!:thumb:

Josh his specs that I know of is its a crew cab short box, built motor done by him, trans built by him, running his own tuning last night, on toyo proxies. It's a single turbo that he remote mounted and built himself. It's still setup for pulling but he did great driving out of the hole last night lol. I know he had to take some power out of it to even be able to launch it. Ups lost two of his slicks some how so he hasn't able to run it all out like he would have liked to. I believe he is done for the year and has to finish harvesting now. Hopefully early next year before pulling season starts he will drive the three hours to the closest 1/4 mile track and see what it can realy do. When pulling season starts thats all he will do with it until later in the year when its over. He drove it to and from the track last night also.

It was a lot of fun and frustrating at the same time. Like Steve already said ups lost 2 of my slicks somehow so I had to run on my little pizza cutter proxies. And don't let Steve fool you, I'm not much of a driver when it comes to drag racing, so launching gently was a bit of a challenge.:baby:

Well I finally have a full set of 4 slicks. Can't wait until next spring. Now I can look at them all winter while the snow flies and think of how much I hate ups! I ended having to buy 2 more because ups was to incompetent to find my other 2. I will never ship anything ups again. This is not the first time they have broken or lost something of mine.
