computer virus + efi live =???

hey guys my mom was using my laptop and Im blaming her for the virus that I got :D my question is if I tuned my truck now(I think I got most all of the virus off but im not sure) could it mess up the computer in the truck? or possibly not send the right tune info to the truck or something?? anyone know or had anything like this??

if the system is running stabily, doesn't hang, or run abnormally slow, you should be fine.

worse case it may corrupt the efi file, but then efi would catch it/have hard time opening.

Theres no virus out there to "change" a efi live tune lol. Not that I know of anyway.
 
Provided you can open/close/modify your tunes with EFILive, you will be fine to flash them into your truck.

If you can't open/close/modify you'll need to rebuild your tunes before FlashScan will allow them to be flashed into the truck.

Ok good to know! I was just worried as I've seen guys at school load a program onto the cnc's that had a virus and the machines lock up. Didn't want my truck to do that haha
