I will doing some more building on my truck over the next 6 months and just looking for some ideas from everyone (06lbz). Obviously I will be getting tranny built, pistons, rods, head studs, etc, but where I'm really lost is in the turbo/injector compo. I'm wanting to run a compound turbo setup. I work away from home, so this truck is more of a toy than a daily driver. Will be doing some towing (toy hauler and horse trailer), but mostly just out to eat mustangs. I have been told Garrett is the way to go with their ball bearing turbos. Very open to other suggestions (stoked to get rid of the stock variable vane). What are some good turbo size setups and why? Also, what size injectors would properly pair with these turbo combos? One more, is it feasible to just nozzle the injectors, or should I go with new ones? 74K on the truck.

You can go from mild to wild, it just depends on what you want to do/spend. Search and read as there lots of different combinations, ask lots of questions, and welcome

I'm wanting to go somewhat wild. From what I understand the pistons will handle at most 650 hp, the bottom end 750. Those will have to go. I plan on having the tranny built to hold 1000 hp. Believe me when I tell you I've been doing a lot of reading and research, hours worth. I have not come across an lbz specific compound turbo/injectors making 800-1000 hp thread. I've seen a lot of good ideas for kits and setups to make 650-750, but if i'm spending the dough I'm definitely going bigger than that. So, I guess to be more specific, what are some ideas for compound setup and injectors for 800-1000 hp setup? I hope this helps to narrow the field a little, or a lot. Please let me know if I can provide more info that will help with selection. Also, thanks for the welcome. Good to be part of the thread instead of just reading through it.

Look at harbin22s current setup, the builder said he should have enough air for 1000 hp. Ask the vendors for their recommendations
